Decade the Bear – Purple

The purple Decade was a Japan exclusive, sold through Jaba Inter City, and that is what sets it apart from the other nine colours of the tenth anniversary bear. Its run was short, from early September to early November 2003. All ten colours were sold under one style number, so the colour and the Japanese distribution are what identify this one.

Like every colour, it descends from the bear Ty Warner showed at the New York City Toy Fair on 16 February 2003, where he signed 100 of them for retailers. The purple bear has no oddities on record.
