Decade the Bear – Gold

The gold Decade is one of ten colours Ty made of the tenth anniversary bear during 2003, and its run lasted under two months, from the start of November to the day after Christmas. The ten colours are brown, dark blue, gold, green, light blue, orange, pink, purple, red and white, all under the same style number, so the colour is the only thing that separates them.

Decade first appeared on 16 February 2003 at the New York City Toy Fair, where Ty Warner signed 100 of the bears in person for retailers.

Every Decade wears a tenth anniversary button on its chest. The one documented oddity on the gold bear is an example missing that button.
