Decade the Bear – Light Blue

The light blue Decade went on sale in March 2003, a month after the tenth anniversary bear was first shown, and was retired in May after a run of about two months. It is one of ten colours made under the same style number that year, alongside brown, dark blue, gold, green, orange, pink, purple, red and white.

That first showing was the New York City Toy Fair on 16 February 2003, where Ty Warner signed 100 Decade bears for retailers in person.

The tenth anniversary button on the chest is standard on every colour. The one documented oddity on the light blue bear is an example without it.
