The solid brown-nose M.C. Beanie has a smooth, unprinted brown nose. There is no Mastercard emblem on it. This makes it different from both of the brown emblem-nose variants, whose logos remain visible against light or dark brown backgrounds.
Collector research reports three examples and documents an early authentication certificate from 2005. The version later drew renewed attention when another example surfaced. At least one is documented with a Ty Warner signature.
When comparing a bear with this version, ask for a clear face photograph as well as the full bear and original tags. A listing described only as “brown nose” could refer to any of three different M.C. Beanie variants.
