This M.C. Beanie keeps the Mastercard logo, but the plastic around it is a light honey brown. It is noticeably lighter than the dark chocolate-brown emblem nose, while the solid brown-nose version has no logo at all.
Collector research reports six examples of the light-brown emblem version. Older authentication labels may describe it simply as “brown nose,” because the light and dark shades were not always recorded separately.
A close photograph of the nose is more useful than a seller’s shorthand. Compare the background around the logo in even lighting, and check any authentication paperwork against the bear itself. The brown plush and red-and-yellow ribbon alone cannot identify this version.
