McBoo

McBoo is one of the three 1986 McDonald's Halloween Pails, an orange pumpkin-shaped pail with a rigid snap lid distinguished from its siblings only by face design.

The trio launched nationally in 1986 after a limited 1985 regional test market, and returned largely unchanged in 1987 before the promotion skipped 1988. The molded copyright date on the base does not reliably identify which year a given pail was distributed, so collectors identify these by design rather than by date.
