1997 Teenie Beanie Babies

The 1997 promotion ran for just two weeks, from 11 to 25 April, and its ten toys started the whole Teenie Beanie phenomenon. Restaurants sold out fast enough that the short window became part of the legend. The set runs from Patti the Platypus at number 1 to Lizz the Lizard at number 10, and every toy above links to a full record with its set number, colours and identifying details.
