Tied to the 1996 live-action film, this promotion put 101 small PVC Dalmatian figures into Happy Meals across the 1996 holiday season, one per meal and blind, so no bag told you which you were getting. McDonald's own certificate of authenticity confirms the count of 101.

The figures are overwhelmingly anonymous puppies rather than named characters, distinguished by pose, collar colour, spot placement and an enormous range of props: buses, a Rolls Royce, a teapot, a barrel, a paint can, drums, wreaths, stockings and gift boxes. The holiday theming runs right through the assortment, which matches the late November to January window.

Identification notes

There is no official numbering of any kind. The figures' undersides carry factory or tooling codes such as #WM and #MT 1-01 that form no sequence, and no number appears on the polybag, the collector case, the certificate or McDonald's own promotional poster. The 1 to 101 numbers collectors use are an unofficial aftermarket convention, shared across several independent sellers, and every number in this database is recorded on that basis. Individual figures carry no official names, so descriptive labels are aliases rather than identifications. Six convention slots are undocumented everywhere: 27, 54, 75, 81, 86 and 98. Cruella De Vil is not in this set: she is one of the four figures in the 1991 promotion tied to the animated film's re-release. Keep this promotion separate from the 1990 and 1991 Happy Meals, the 1997 animated-series Flip Cars, the mail-order collector case, the separately purchased snow domes and above all the 2000 sequel promotion, which had 102 figures and its own certificate.
