Starry the Bear – Flag Nose

Starry, in the flag nose version, is the one Ty kept to Australia alone, released on 15 October 2005, about a month after the black-nosed version that had already gone out across the wider Asia-Pacific region. The nose itself is the tell: this one carries a flag print rather than the plain black of its sibling.

Starry is one of six flag pattern and flag nose bears in Ty's 2005 Asia- Pacific set, the other five being Aotearoa, Hikari, Korea, Maju and Negaraku, each dressed in its own country's flag instead of Australia's.
