Starry the Bear – Black Nose

Starry, in the black nose version, is the plain-nosed half of a pair Ty made for its 2005 Asia-Pacific set. Ty sold this version across the region generally, releasing it on 12 September 2005, about a month before the flag- nosed version that followed and was kept to Australia alone.

Both carry Australia's flag pattern across the body. Starry is one of six flag pattern and flag nose bears in that 2005 Asia-Pacific set, the other five being Aotearoa, Hikari, Korea, Maju and Negaraku, each dressed in its own country's flag instead.
