Mystic the Unicorn Tan Horn Fine Mane

Mystic the Unicorn with a tan horn and fine mane is the original version, one of the June 1994 releases, and the one made with first generation tags. She carries a first, second or third generation swing tag and a first or second generation tush tag, and the fine, silky mane is what separates her from the coarse-maned Mystic that Ty was making at the same time under the same style number.

Ty made Mystic in four versions under style 4007. After this one came the tan horn with a coarse mane, then an iridescent horn with the coarse mane from October 1997, and finally an iridescent horn with a rainbow mane for the first months of 1999. The tag generations are the surest way to place a Mystic among them, and an early tag pairing with a fine mane is the one to look for.
