#1 Elephant Furby , gray, blue and pink
The Elephant has a pale gray body, bright blue belly and feet, pink inner ears, aqua-blue hair and a blue faceplate. Its cool pastel palette makes it one of the easiest designs to distinguish from the darker Raccoon.

The Tiger uses orange plush printed with narrow black stripes. It has a white belly, white inner ears, orange faceplate, brown-orange feet and a black tuft. No other toy in the set has this classic striped pattern.

The Tree Frog has a yellow body broken up by irregular green patches, an orange belly and faceplate, green feet, lime inner ears and a pale green tuft. Look for broad, organic patches rather than the Diamondback Snake's small repeated diamonds.

The Raccoon has a soft gray body and belly, cream inner ears, black feet and a black-and-white tuft. The dark faceplate creates a mask-like expression that suits the raccoon theme. It is mostly neutral in color, unlike the pastel Elephant.

Plush clip-ons versus the 1999 plastic McFurbys
The phrase "McDonald's Furby toy" can refer to two different promotions, which is why online checklists often seem to contradict one another.
The 1999 U.S. McFurbys were plastic figures. Contemporary reporting described an 80-toy assortment created by combining eight moving actions with ten colors. They were designed as miniature novelty versions of the electronic Furby craze.

Were the plush McDonald's Furbys electronic?
No. Although their molded faces resemble the original electronic Furby, these clip-ons have no batteries, speaker, sensors or digital pet functions. Their purpose was decorative: the original toy could be attached to a bag or other item using its clip or hook.
The examples sold by Millennial Daydreams have been upcycled with new gold-tone bag-charm hardware. That hardware is a modern addition, not part of the original McDonald's release. The vintage plush Furby itself is authentic; the conversion gives a surviving toy a new way to be worn and displayed.

How to identify an original plush McDonald's Furby
Start with the construction. A toy from this set should have a small stuffed fabric body, a rigid plastic face assembly, large flat fabric ears, a synthetic hair tuft and two fabric feet. Surviving examples may also retain a sewn-in manufacturer or licensing label and all or part of the original attachment loop.
Compare patterned designs by their markings and solid-color designs by the combination of body, belly, faceplate, feet and tuft. Even lighting makes those comparisons easier.
Photograph the front, back and surviving label. Fading and warm lighting can change how a color appears, so confirm a match from several features.
What condition details matter to collectors?
For an untouched collectible, inspect the original clip or loop, sewn label, faceplate and fabric seams. Common age-related issues include flattened or tangled hair, surface dirt, faded fabric, loose stitching, rubbed eye printing and scratches on the plastic face. Original packaging can make identification easier, but an unpackaged example is not automatically inauthentic.
For an upcycled bag charm, examine the vintage toy and the new hardware separately. Normal signs of age are part of the character of a genuinely vintage piece, while the added clasp, chain and rings should be secure enough for display or careful wear.
