McDonald's ran the 1999 promotion in two phases: twelve numbered Teenie Beanie Babies from May 21 through June 3, followed by four International Bears in cardboard packaging, sold for $2.49 with any food item purchase, from June 3 through June 17. A McDonald's crew-exclusive bear was also distributed to employees on May 21.

A McDonald's crew-exclusive Glory, identical to the public release, was distributed to employees on May 21, 1999, with a different swing tag.
