About Wattlie the Bear

Wattlie the Bear was Australia's first exclusive Beanie Baby, and the flower on the chest is the Golden Wattle, Australia's national flower.

Wattlie belongs to the 2002 Asia-Pacific set of six flower bears, with Bunga Raya, Ferny, Mugungwha, Sakura II and Vanda. Wattlie stayed in production until March 2003, seven months after Vanda, the Singapore bear released on the same day, had been retired.
