Tyger the Dog Dark Version

Tyger the Dog's dark version was the original release, six inches tall in black and brown, sold from 2 September 2008 to 16 April 2010. Ty introduced a lighter, smaller redesign on 10 September 2009 while the dark version was still in production, so the two overlapped on shelves for about seven months before the original retired.

The dark version carries a fifteenth generation swing tag paired with the 14a tush tag, the combination that marks the original run apart from the redesign's sixteenth and 14b generations. Both versions carry the same swing tag verse about the Yorkie's coat and pedigree; only the printed generation differs between them.
