Tracker the Bassett Hound

Tracker is a basset hound whose counterfeits have been found carrying authentic swing tags, so a genuine tag on this character is no guarantee of a genuine dog. The checks have to be made on Tracker himself. His birthday is 5 June 1997.

The eyes are the first thing to look at. A counterfeit Tracker has protruding eyes, and the white felt runs above and around them, where an authentic Tracker has white felt only under the eyes. The left ear on a fake is sewn so that it points back rather than down.

The one recorded oddity is a Tracker wearing an Early tush tag.
