About The End the Bear Beanie Baby

The End was made to mark the retirement of the whole Beanie Baby line at the close of 1999. Collectors around the world protested the announcement, and Ty carried on producing Beanie Babies. That leaves The End as a farewell bear for a farewell that never happened.

The Beginning, style 4267, is the bear usually paired with him, because it announced the many more years of Beanie Babies that followed.

Two oddities are documented, both on the embroidered chest emblem. Some bears are missing the emblem entirely, and some have an emblem with the word End left off it.
