Strut the Rooster

Strut is the rooster Ty brought in to replace Doodle. He carries the same style number and the same birthday, 8 March 1996, and the only differences between the two are the swing tag and the tush tag.

Because the bodies are identical, the tags are the whole identification. A rooster with Doodle on the swing tag is a Doodle. The same rooster with Strut printed there is a Strut, and Strut is the one found with fourth and fifth generation swing tags and fourth through sixth generation tush tags.

He had one stadium giveaway. The Indiana Pacers handed out 5,000 at their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on 2 April 1998.

Eight wrong tush tags are documented on Strut: Baldy, Chip, Curly, Doodle, Quackers, Speedy, Stinky and Snort. The Doodle tag is the only one with an obvious explanation, since the two roosters share a style number. The rest are the ordinary run of factory mix-ups, and none of them means the tag was tampered with.
