Stinky the Skunk

Stinky is the skunk, and he ran for more than three years. Ty introduced him on 3 June 1995 and retired him on 28 September 1998. His style number is 4017 and his birthday is 13 February 1995.

That run carries him across most of the early tag changes. He is found with third, fourth and fifth generation swing tags, and with every tush tag from the first generation through the sixth. A first generation tush tag places a Stinky at the start of the run and a sixth at the end, so the tag pair dates him more closely than anything on the body.

The documented oddities are almost all tush tags. Stinky has been found wearing tags belonging to Bongo, Chip, Doodle, Floppity, Radar, Sly, Speedy and Weenie, eight names in all. Those are factory slips rather than signs of tampering. The one oddity that is not a tag is a Stinky made with no eyes.
