About Smoochy the Frog

Smoochy the Frog comes with two mouths. The felt mouth version appeared in June 1998, about six months after his release, so the earliest examples have the original mouth and later ones have felt. The mouth is the first thing to look at when placing an example.

The St. Louis Cardinals gave away 15,000 at the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on 14 August 1998. The one recorded oddity is a Smoochy wearing a Cubbie tush tag.
