Ronald McDonald was bag number 4 in McDonald's 2009 Teenie Beanie Babies promotion, the McDonald's mascot done up as one of the set's 30 Teenies. The set ran from April 11 to May 15, 2009. Each toy came sealed in its own numbered bag, free with a Happy Meal, and in most restaurants was also sold on its own.
Each swing tag carried a code for online games and activities at happymeal.com or ty.com, the same kind of code Ty put on its full-size Beanie Babies 2.0 line. Ty separately made a full-size Ronald McDonald bear for a McDonald's Worldwide Owner/Operator convention in 2004, a different item from this Teenie, and Ronald has no full-size counterpart within the regular Beanie Babies line.
