Roary the Lion

Roary is a lion, and some of his fifth generation swing tags carry two misprints. The tag reads ORIGIINAL, with an extra I, and Suface where Surface belongs.

He was a giveaway once. The Kansas City Royals handed out 13,000 at their game against the Oakland A's on 31 May 1998.

Seven wrong-name tush tags are documented on Roary: Batty, Floppity, Nanook, Pouch, Princess, Ringo and Velvet. A Princess tag on a lion is the one that draws attention, and it is a factory swap like the rest. Scoop has been found wearing a Roary tag in return.
