Twenty-four Princess bears were prepared for a December 1997 charity auction at Kensington Palace benefiting the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. Each was signed and numbered in gold ink and accompanied by a matching signed certificate.
The bear keeps the purple plush, white rose and black nose of the original Princess design. The edition number and accompanying documentation distinguish this release; an ordinary Princess with an unrelated signature is not the same edition.
The reference photographs show number 14 of 24 with its certificate and signed hang tag. When recording one of these bears, include the edition number and keep photographs of the bear, tag and certificate together.
