Piran the Bear – Black Nose

Piran the Bear's black-nose version is the plain original, the nose left its natural colour rather than painted with the Cornish flag. That's the check against the flag-nose Piran made under the same style number, 46100.

Piran ran for just eight days, introduced on 29 May 2007 and retired on 6 June 2007, which is a short enough window that almost any Piran in circulation came out of that single week.

He carries the Cornwall theme throughout, his swing tag poem invoking the Cornish motto 'One and All' and the black and white flag of Kernow. Ty also sold this black-nose sculpt as an Abbey Bears exclusive under style 46101, with a special swing tag of its own.
