Nip the Cat – White Paws

The white-pawed Nip is the longest-running of four Nip versions, all of which share one style number. The other three are a white-faced Nip with magenta whiskers, a white-faced Nip with pink whiskers, and an all-gold Nip.

The swing tag places him. White paws is the only version found on fourth or fifth generation swing tags. The magenta-whiskered version carries a second generation tag, and the pink-whiskered and all-gold versions a third, so a third generation tag means checking the body as well.

Counterfeit Nips exist, and the face gives them away. A genuine Nip has black and yellow eyes and a pink nose. A fake has solid black eyes and a black nose, sometimes a larger one than it should be.

One oddity is on record, a Nip wearing a Flip tush tag.
