Mugungwha the Bear

Mugungwha was South Korea's first exclusive Beanie Baby, a white bear named for the country's national flower. The mugungwha is the Rose of Sharon, and the mugung in the name means endless, standing for the perpetuity of the country and its people.

She is one of six flower bears in Ty's 2002 Asia-Pacific set, with Bunga Raya, Ferny, Sakura II, Vanda and Wattlie. The English translation of her poem presents her as a friend born to mark the Lunar New Year.
