M C Anniversary 5th Edition the Bear was Ty's fifth annual thank-you to MasterCard holders who had charged at least $5,000 that year, again shipped with a Thank You card. Ty introduced this edition the same day the 4th Edition retired, keeping the yearly handoff unbroken. Its poem tells the cardholder they have earned the treat, and calls the bear the newest one to mark the year.
