Lizz the Lizard is bag number 10 in McDonald's 1997 Teenie Beanie set, given its own name apart from the full-size Lizzy the Lizard it is based on. The promotion was planned to run five weeks from April 11 and cut short instead, on April 25, when demand emptied restaurant supplies almost immediately, after McDonald's had ordered 100 million toys for the run, 10 million of each of the ten characters. Sealed bags are still easy to find today, and the bag alone does not make one valuable.
