Issy the Bear

Issy the Bear was made for the Four Seasons Hotels, in a run of 63 different city editions, each one identified by the hotel's city printed on both the swing tag and the tush tag.

Profits from every city version except New York went to the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research. The New York edition supported a different cause, pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, and came packaged with a card the other 62 did not.

The character is named for Isadore Sharp, founder and chairman of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and carries a printed dedication inside the tag to Christopher Sharp, 1960 to 1978. Cities in the run range from Atlanta and Chicago to Singapore and Tokyo, though the tag text is otherwise identical from one city to the next, aside from the name printed on it.
