Inky the Octopus Pink

The pink Inky is one of three versions of the octopus, and the first check on any of them is the tentacle count. A correct Inky has eight. Pink examples have been found with seven, nine and ten, and those are factory oddities rather than versions of their own. Inky is style 4028 and stands seven inches.

A pink Inky should also have a mouth. One has been documented without, and it is listed as an oddity. That is different from the gray Inky, which was made both without a mouth and with one, so a missing mouth on gray is a version and a missing mouth on pink is a slip.

Counterfeits are documented on both gray versions. None is recorded for the pink, which does not mean there are none, only that no list of tells has been written for it. Tush tag swaps recorded on the pink are Gobbles and Prance.
