Hero the Bear Usa Reversed Flag on Arm

This USA Hero wears the same arm patch as the plain version, but reversed, the flag mirrored left to right. That flip is the only way to tell the two arm versions apart, since Ty kept everything else about them the same under style 40012.

Reversed-flag Hero is one of three USA versions in a family of five Hero Beanie Babies. The other two are a British Hero under style 40013 and an Australian Hero under style 40014, all saluting people who serve in the armed forces.

The USA line was a charity release. All of the profit from an original purchase went to the USO, and in 2004 Hero rode along with the Cody Banks 2 movie premiere, packaged with a special Cody Banks swing tag.
