Goochy the Jellyfish

Goochy is a jellyfish made from one of the most expensive fabrics Ty used, a shiny gray-green material that made the tie-dyeing process harder to control than on other Beanie Babies. Ty gave away 10,000 of him at a Tampa Bay Devil Rays game against the Boston Red Sox on 10 April 1999.

Goochy the Jellyfish was bag number 16 in the Under the Sea group of the 2000 McDonald's Teenie Beanie Babies promotion, one of the 18 numbered bags in the largest of the four U.S. Teenie runs. Goochy's Teenie carries McDonald's branded tags rather than Ty's heart tag, and like most of the set, it went out in huge numbers, so a sealed bag alone does not carry much value.
