Flutter the Butterfly

Flutter is the tie-dyed butterfly, one of the early Beanie Babies that shipped with no poem and no birthday. Her body is black and her wings are the same tie-dye Ty used for Steg, style 4087.

Counterfeit Flutters exist, and there are three checks. The eyes on a genuine Flutter are soft knotted eyes, never plastic. The tush tag is sewn onto a wing, never onto the black body. And every authentic Flutter carries a 1995 date. She was in production for a single year and only ever carried a third generation swing tag, so a Flutter on any other tag is worth a second look.
