Flip the Cat

Flip is a white cat that echoes Kashmir, the plush cat Ty made before the Beanie Baby line existed. She shares her white fabric with five other Beanies: Chilly, Gracie, Magic, Spot and Peking. A Flip carrying a Zip tush tag is a known mix-up, not a fake.

Flip the Cat was bag number 3 in the Pet Pals group of the 2000 McDonald's Teenie Beanie Babies promotion, the largest of the four U.S. Teenie runs, which spread 18 numbered bags across five categories from June through November 2000. As with the rest of the promotion, millions of these bags shipped, and a sealed example is common enough that the bag alone does not create value.
