Ellie the Elephant

Ellie is an elephant Beanie Boo introduced January 2, 2014 at 6 inches, with a matching 9 inch medium size released the same day. A 16 inch large version followed in November 2014, sold as a Justice Stores exclusive.

That large Ellie caused some confusion in late November 2014. It appeared unannounced in the Ty online store, listed as 'EXCLUSIVE VERY LIMITED'. Collectors who ordered it were surprised to find it arrived with a Justice Stores swing tag instead, the same version that had turned up in Justice retail stores around the same time.

A separate Beanie Boo also named Ellie is a wolf exclusive to Great Wolf Lodge, introduced in June 2019 in regular and medium sizes. It shares only the name, not the elephant's design or history.
