About Ebony the Bear

Ebony was released as one half of a pair, arriving on the same day as Ivory. The two bears are companions, and each one's poem names the other.

The launch had a limited form. On the day the pair went on sale, Hamleys sold 50 boxed Ebony bears and 50 boxed Ivory bears, each box holding a Hamleys certificate. The box and the certificate are what mark one of those 50 out from a standard Ebony.
