About Dusty the Bear

Dusty is a bear named for Dusty Baker, the Chicago Cubs manager at the time, and he is the first sports-exclusive Beanie Baby to carry an official team logo. The Cubs and Ty gave away 10,000 of him to kids thirteen and under at Wrigley Field on 4 May 2003, the same day the Cubs beat the Colorado Rockies 5 to 4. He was made only for that one game, and never sold before or after it.
