Dotty the Dalmatian

Dotty is Ty's Dalmatian, a white dog with black spots. The Los Angeles Sparks gave away 3,000 Dotties at their basketball game against the Phoenix Mercury on 31 July 1998.

She has been found wearing Chip and Seaweed tush tags, both factory oddities.

Dotty the Dalmatian was bag number 4 in the Pet Pals group of the 2000 McDonald's Teenie Beanie Babies promotion. The 2000 set was the biggest and most complex of the four U.S. Teenie runs, spreading 18 numbered bags across five categories over nearly five months, with several unnumbered special groups released alongside it. Dotty's Teenie carries McDonald's branded tags rather than Ty's heart tag, and like most of the set, she was produced in huge numbers, so a sealed bag on its own does not carry much value.
