Courage the Dog wears the USA flag on his right leg in this version, sold in the United States with English text inside the swing tag and in Japan with Japanese text on the same tag. Ty also made a left-leg version in both languages, and the Ty store's own exclusive release used the right leg like this one.

Courage was a charity Beanie Baby made after the September 11 attacks, and his tush tag carries the letters NYPD to mark it. Sold alongside Rescue, the pair raised over a million dollars for the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund in their first six months.
