Bumble the Bee

Bumble the Bee is cut from the same fabric as Bubbles, style 4078, one of several early Beanie Babies that shared cloth between characters. Counterfeit versions of Bumble are known to exist, though no specific tell for spotting one has survived in the record.

Bumble the Bee was bag number 6 in the Garden Bunch group of the 2000 McDonald's Teenie Beanie Babies promotion. That year's Happy Meal phase used 18 numbered bags, running from June to November 2000 alongside several unnumbered special groups. Bumble's Teenie carries McDonald's branded tags rather than Ty's heart tag, and like most of the set, it shipped in huge numbers, so a sealed bag by itself is not what creates value.
