Brutus the Dog Laying Down

Brutus the Dog is a Rottweiler shown lying down, the original release under style 40803. He carries a swing tag generation of 16 paired with a tush tag generation of 14, the earliest pairing of the three Brutus releases, and he was introduced on 2 October 2009, three years after the birthday printed on his tag, 9 July 2006.

Almost identical bears have also been released under a separate style number, 40482. All three versions under style 40803, this original included, were retired together on 14 October 2013.
