Brownie the Bear BBOC

Brownie the Bear BBOC is a 2005 club replica of the original Brownie. Brownie was the first edition of Cubbie and one of the original nine Beanie Babies, and the Beanie Babies Official Club reissued the Original 9 as commemoratives that year.

The replica's swing tag is what marks it. The back shows the word BEANIES in large red letters and carries no barcode.

In 2010, Brownie replicas surfaced on the secondary market wearing a swing tag with a barcode and a style number sticker covering the red BEANIES lettering. Where those stickered bears were first sold is not known. Ty's own records give Brownie an off-order date of 18 January 2010, almost four years after the club version was retired, and no explanation for the gap has been published.
