About Bently the Cat San Ysidro Ranch Tag

Bently is a cat made only for guests of the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, the resort Ty Warner bought in 2000. Fewer than 40 are believed to have been made. The San Ysidro Ranch swing tag is what marks this version.

The name has two explanations on record. One is the resort's own cat, Bently, who lives on the property and gets along with guests and staff. The other is Ty Warner's Bentley, the car he drives to the ranch when he visits.
