Counterfeits exist, and the name is the first check. A fake carries the name Holiday on both the swing tag and the tush tag, where a genuine bear reads 1998 Holiday Teddy. The fabric is the second. The holly pattern on a fake is printed larger than it should be, and the printing itself is poor.
